No. Not a post about Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Welcome to the Pleasure Dome." But they were British, and this IS a post about London. It's now less than 2 months until we will be jetting off to England. Unfortunately the dollar has started a downward trend against the pound and euro which I hope reverses soon. One thing I wanted to do was get an Oyster Card so that there would be no hassle getting on the Tube to take us to our hotel which is less than a block from a Tube station on the line that comes from Heathrow. Once again, I had stayed in that neighborhood 20 years ago and found the convenience a major selling point. So now we don't have to worry about purchasing a card when we get there. We should be good for almost the whole week that we'll be there, depending on how much travelling we do around London. One thing that I really enjoyed while researching the Oyster Card were the YouTube videos the transportation board produced explaining about the Tube. They're furry! Here's an example. There are several in the series.
